About
The Alliance
Forum Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, is in its 21st
year of successfully coordinating strategic partnering for emerging
U.S. growth technologies companies and large to mid-size Japanese
corporations. Particularly in regards to Japan, the Alliance Forum
objective is to help move the structural reformation of the Japanese
industries through adopting the philosophy of VENTURE and ALLIANCE.
Mission
The mission of the Alliance Forum
is to work with entrepreneurs, business organizations and communities
to create value in the knowledge-based economy and infrastructure centered
in the Pacific Rim region. The foundation believes that sustained economic
growth requires many iterative rounds of both specialization and re-integration
across economic and cultural borders. In this global marketplace, the
importance of new Pacific-centered alliances and networks is paramount.
The foundation's mission is multifaceted, encompassing support for
technological and entrepreneurial advancement, the establishment of
strategic partnerships and the overall enhancement of transpacific
relations.
Goals
To promote free and open
exchange of ideas and friendship among individuals, as a first and fundamental
layer of networks across the Pacific.
To promote networking and nurture strategic
alliances among the high technology entrepreneurs and corporations throughout
the Pacific Rim.
To promote research and develop the knowledge,
tools, databases, networks and other means to support the transition
of individuals, organizations and communities to new economic and social
models.
To educate and
inform today's business leaders about fundamental changes in the marketplace
of strategic alliances. Business alliances respond to changes in business
itself; Alliance Forum is the only organization with the international
experience in technology and the Biosciences to help understand those
changes.
