bracNet is a private-sector supported project deploying next-generation technology to support development and improve the standard of living in Bangladesh
The bracNet project uses state of the art technology to provide telemedecine and distance learning solutions. These solutions aim to increase access to educational and health services, to improve the literacy rate, and to increase the overall standard of living in developing countries. The project is rooted in the promotion of sustainability and self-reliance through private sector support for developing countries in place of foreign aid.
bracNet is a internet service provider in Bangladesh that deploys state of the art wireless broadband technology. The company was established as joint venture between private investors and BRAC, one of the world's largest NGO's. bracNet is continuing roll-out of its wireless broadband services across Bangladesh, one of the world's least developed countries.
