Alliance Forum Foundation

What we aim for through Public Interest Capitalism

Philosophy

Building an "educated, healthy, and prosperous middle class" around the world

Activity policy

The Alliance Forum Foundation is a special consultative non-governmental organization of the United States with special consultative status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council, founded in Stanford, USA in 1985 by George Hara with the mission of "Building an educated, healthy, and prosperous middle class around the world."

As a way to achieve this philosophy, we are working to spread Public Interest Capitalism and implement it in society. In 2013, we set the goal of realizing "a society where people can stay healthy until just before they reach their natural lifespan" as Japan's national goal for 2050, and based on the three elements of technological innovation, institutional innovation, and ecosystems, we are forming alliances with many companies and organizations to create new industries that will be essential to future society. We are also working in Asia and Africa, which will become the centers of the global economy in the future, to realize fair and prosperous societies that are rooted in the cultures and climates of each region.
